On-Line Registration
version 6a

General Information | Patrons | Last Year's Awards | MALT Website

Brew entry registration is closed.  Stewards/Judges may continue to register w/o brews.

Instructions

Registration will be accepted between 7/1/06 and 9/1/06 at 12 pm.  The competition will be conducted on 9/9/06.

This on-line registration form is based in part on the system developed by the MALT homebrew club of Asheville NC for use in their annual Blue Ridge Brew Off competition.  Their help is gratefully acknowledged.

If you have more that 8 entries please read this section particularly thoroughly .  First enter the data up to Brew Entry Information.  If you have 8 or fewer brews to enter you are ready to proceed with Brew Entry Information.  If you have more than 8 brews to enter you’ll have to open a second browser window.  If you are registering as a judge or steward without brews to enter, enter all but the brew information and click Submit and you are done; no need to mail anything.  From the Internet Explorer menu click File, New and Window.  The second window will have all but the Brew Entry Information completed.  If you have more than 16 entries, a third browser window will be needed and so forth for each additional group of up to 8 more entries.  For each open window complete the Brew Entry Information section and then click “Submit.”  Follow the instructions on the web page you will be taken to which concludes with closing that browser window.  Process all open browser windows in a like manner.  Alternatively, if you can’t get the additional browser windows to open, return to this window after you’ve clicked Submit and printed the bottle labels on the next webpage.  Then reset all the brew data and click Submit again.  Repeat as necessary.

After clicking "Submit" please use your web browser to print the web page.  The first two paper pages from each browser window are for your information only.  The  subsequent paper pages are filled-in bottle labels to be attached to your entries.  The instruction on that web page provide details.

Use the Tab key to move to the next field (or point and left click).  The Enter key must not be used anywhere on this form.  It has the same effect as clicking "Submit", which should not done until the entire form is ready.  If you do inadvertently use the Enter key in a text field, a colon will be automatically substituted or, in some cases, the registrar will have to remove the enter keystroke from your data in order to complete your registration.  (If you do it intentionally your beer will turn to vinegar!)

Please let us know what you like or dislike about our competition and the on-line registration in the comments field.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.
